This picture is very good and emotional. It makes me want to cry because of it's tragedy (only given by the title). Not knowing the title I would think of the girl committing suicide and - in future - the man in the boat searching for her [me brightly ignoring the lamp in her hand]. But somehow it's funny because of the bird in front of her lamp - it makes you think that he wants to say "hey, why I you sad - I'm here, live goes on ... haha"
I also like the geomatric aspect of the golden section which drives me automatically to the conection between the 4 elements bird - girl - sea - man/boat - city - night. *g* (well ... they are the only objects seen ... ignoring others ... ah .. if you don't get what i mean its meaningless anyway).

this is a very beautiful image. i like the ambience of the city lights cast along the water and the midnight blues over the water and the girl. very poetic. nice work.
