Wonderful piece. Too bad the photograph was damaged. But it could be saved with a lot of work on Photoshop, definitely. Were you not tempted to "restore" it ?

If it were the actual painting I'd take the trouble, but spending all that time + effort on a grainy photo just seems to me a fruitless endeavor
