I feel like leaving a small comment is almost an insult to your work, I'd rather do some sort of elaborate dance to show you how special it is.
It stimulates the intellect you develop as an adult and revives the intellect you only seem to only have as a child. You have my favourite things and little childhood dreams all in your work. Daym, Kola
I think the stream represents life and mortality. The child is a being who not only idolizes god, but also strives to emulate Him (as seen by the collector's card of Jesus on the wall behind his head.) The child is not content to play God as a silent spectator to watch the ducks flow steadily to their demise at the waterfall. Instead, the child descends upon one of the ducks with wanton delight, displaying his power to bring death and pain for no other reason than a mere childish whim.
Ok. I have to appologize : I'm in a rotten mood right now and my comments are a stright reflexion of that mood. I usually write comments that try to bring positive ensight, but, right now, I'll be statisfied by making wise cracks.
That is great. She looks like she's blind - is she supposed to be? There is so much possible symbolism here that I am wondering whether it means anything at all. Artists always seem to be tricking people like that. Well, I think you are one of my new DA favorites.
this is so dark... some of the emotions expressed through your art are truly frightening- you hold so much power. I get the same feeling looking at Trevor Brown's art... you ought to look him up some day- I'm quite sure you'd find him interesting...
I tried to think of a comment to put here since you first submitted it. I cannot think of anything to say really. I love the way you did this piece but something about it gets under my skin. I think it is the portrait of Jesus on the wall. I cannot explain it. Other than that, I love it!
