Acrylic on canvas, 16X20 inches.

A new piece.

In the past two weeks I've had three separate dreams involving Joy Division. The first two are a blur, but in the third they are in a rehearsal hall playing though very old and shabby amplifiers that have tube television screens built into them. Oddly enough, they weren't playing their own material, but were instead playing a piece that sounded a lot like "Babies In The Bardo" by Section 25...
Oh, this has nothing to do with the painting, BTW.

Thanks for looking =)

Limbs and branches will grow in time. Your eye is pure. So much there my H/T/P training overloads, yet the figure is whole as are you.

the one who watches rides the dust of earth, the wind bringing his sands to our faces, yet the girl does not blink in the face of immortality.

(sidenote: jacob's ladder the drink;1 shotglass inside one 12 oz tumbler. shotglass half vodka half razzmatazz, set inside tumbler. fill tumbler with half PBR half cranberry juice. tastes like sparking pink lemonade and well does the trick.)

I'd have to stick with the unadulterated cranberry juice, my stomach being as it is...

I had to Wiki - Joy Division - this struck me as funny ( and there is really nothing funny about it ) -

"Despite the band's growing success, vocalist Ian Curtis was beset with depression and personal difficulties, including a dissolving marriage and his diagnosis with epilepsy. Curtis found it increasingly difficult to perform at live concerts, and often had seizures during performances.

I've seen lots of lead singers have seizures ( sad smile )
