Very pretty and serene, with a touch of playfulness in the yellow kite and the carousel horse. The colors are well chosen and harmonious.

Thanks Bern. A little park was bombed there during the second world war. The story was told in an old TV drama (I believe Sylviane Margollé was part of the cast).

If true, it's because of my grandfather. I wish now that I had taken greater advantage of his knowledge

At the closing of everyday, I could be found, Dancing around, a merry-go-round that used to play...

This piece is absolutely wonderful, I especially like the dishevelled horse in the foreground...

Seems that the roundabout might have exceeded its rpm(max) setting. :o

Danny,

Do you use any reference material for this? From life/photos? It looks totally imagined.

Excellent!

Happy Easter/Passover! (If Easter represents a rebirth--in secular terms a rebirth after the dead of winter--where, I ask, is such a celebration in Islam? Islam missed the Renaissance.)

Thanks Bob. No references. I just started out with an idea and a black canvas. Not surprised that you picked up on that.

"where, I ask, is such a celebration in Islam?"
Now don't get me started. I'm not quite ready to be beheaded =)
