I've always wished I could have exhibited my work in Rod Serling's Night Gallery. That being an unlikely possibility, I decided to conjure up the aforementioned and have him (if he would be so kind) introduce a piece of mine in his own inimitable style. Ahem- Mr. Serling? "You're most welcome in this particular museum. There's no admission, no requirement of membership, only a strong and abiding belief in the dark at the top of the stairs, or things that go bump in the night." "There's something rather remarkable in the scope of imagination peculiar to children. They project and dream and fantasize with beauty and simplicity and faith in a manner that somehow eludes us as we grow older. This is Emma, and Emma has a playmate. And though she never sees it, this childish wraith, she knows it's there. It comes to her in part because of loneliness -- and what I wish for you is that you never get that lonely. Our offering tonight is called Little Girl Lost." |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
