When Sibelius (in 1926) was asked by his publisher to explain the programme of his tone poem Tapiola, he replied with the following verse:
Widespread they stand, the Northland's dusky forests, Ancient, mysterious, brooding savage dreams; Within them dwells the Forest's mighty God, And wood-sprites in the gloom weave magic secrets..
(Not mine just to show there's a place which looks like this) No problem, i've wanted to drawn a scene inspired by "Tuonela's swan" for a long time and now that i've seen your works i feel encouraged to do.
