Acrylic on canvas, 16X20.

I've had the idea (and the rough sketch) for this piece for at least ten years, and it never felt right until this past summer.
I learned long ago to never force an idea before it's time (at the risk of sounding like Orson Wells), and though the science of "timing" is never an exact one ... heck, it isn't even a science. Rather, it's more akin to a sort of hyper-intuition.
Set your psychomantium for the heart of the sun.

Looking at this, and all your work, really makes me want to take up painting.
