Every time I look at this I'm reminded of the music of Arvo Part, which I came to know around that time.
I had intended to do a series (The Dream of Jacob is also from this period), but as always the chosen style evolves from my original intent to an inevitable result where the end and the beginning are unrecognizable - yet related. I'm not sure if that's good, or ill.

Either ways, absolutely fandabidozi. Loving the shimmering aura around the subject whatever he/she may be...an' the tree is wonderful. Not the kind of style I'm used to seeing from you, but yet another reminder, that an artist is and artist and it's the form which their art takes that differs and not that fact.
